How a Grenade Works!

Knowing how the grenade works will help to avoid accidents when using fireworks and firecrackers.

In this video you will see how the F-1 Grenade works! The grenade shown in the video is made of cardboard and matches and is not capable of causing serious harm, but you should not repeat what you saw at home. It is not forbidden to show how the grenade works. A description of this process can even be found on Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grenade and even in school textbooks in some countries. In addition, all freely sold fireworks and petards are based on this principle.

Stipa-Caproni: Italy's 'Flying Barrel' from 1933

The Stipa-Caproni was an experimental airplane designed by the Italian aeronautical engineer and aircraft designer Luigi Stipa, and built by Caproni, an Italian aircraft manufacturer. Despite looking like a cartoon air plane, the Stipa-Caproni could fly. It featured a hollow, barrel-shaped fuselage with the engine and propeller completely enclosed by the fuselage - in essence, the whole fuselage was a single ducted fan. The Stipa demonstrated a better rate of climb than conventional aircraft, as well as a very slow landing speed of 42 mph. It also proved to be noticeably quieter than similarly powered conventional aircraft.
